When Vogue Called, We Opened the Door Wider

Being featured in Vogue Magazine was more than a beautiful moment for our family, it was a moment of purpose, representation, and legacy.

This feature gave us the opportunity to tell a story rooted in community: the story of Black cowboys, Native cowboys, Western families, rodeo culture, fashion, faith, and the people who continue to shape this way of life every day.

For us, Western culture is not a trend. It is family. It is history. It is the arena, the ranch, the music, the style, the prayers, and the generations who came before us. When Vogue called, we knew the assignment was bigger than being seen. It was about bringing our people, our culture, and our community with us.

This is a reflection on what that moment meant, why representation matters, and why our stories belong in every room, including the pages of Vogue.
